Whale Alert is a website and Twitter service that monitors blockchain transactions, reporting on large transactions on the bitcoin, Ripple, Ethereum, Stellar, TRON, EOS, NEO, Tezos and other blockchains. Holders of more than 1,000 bitcoin are colloquially referred to as "whales."

The website says it is "creating transparency in a market founded on anonymity." Using various methods that it keeps secret, Whale Alert identifies the persons or entities behind address and attributes transactions to them when possible.

Besides its Twitter service, Whale Alert also offers fee-based subscription services for customized reports as well as provides consulting services.[1]
