Satoshi
A "satoshi," often shortened to "sat," is the smallest unit of bitcoin that can be used in a transaction. It equates to about 0.00000001 bitcoins.[1][2] It is named after Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous creator of bitcoin.[3]
When a person frequently buys small amounts of bitcoin, they are said to be "stacking the sats."[4]
