The company has offices in London, Singapore, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Lagos, and Sydney.[1] Luno's company culture includes an extremely bullish attitude towards cryptocurrencies; according to a blog post, the company's internal language refers to this as its "Moontality," a reference to the concept of mooning.[2]

In September 2020, Luno was acquired by the Digital Currency Group, which first invested in the company in 2014.[3]
