Bitcoin futures contracts are offered in the U.S. by the CME Group, Inc.'s CME, Intercontinental Exchange Group Inc.'s ICE Futures US and ICE Futures Singapore, and ErisX. LedgerX, a swap execution facility that launched bitcoin swaps trading and clearing in October 2017, was designated a contract market for bitcoin futures on June 24, 2019 but its requisite futures clearing authorization only came about in September 2020.

Though they were the first in the world to offer them, Cboe Global Markets, Inc.'s Cboe Futures Exchange ceased offering bitcoin futures trading in June 2019.[1]
